Free summer meal programs \u2013 at schools and community centers \u2013 are the answer.<\/p>\n<p>All across the country, schools and community groups run summer meals sites where kids can eat breakfast and lunch for free.\u00a0\u201cNo Kid Hungry\u201d\u00a0helps local organizations launch and operate these sites, and we also help fund needed equipment like mobile meals trucks.<\/p>\n<p>But neighborhood meals sites aren\u2019t much good if families don\u2019t know about them. That\u2019s why\u00a0\u201cNo Kid Hungry\u201d\u00a0runs a summer meals texting service.
