Consider taking your pet on a walk too, but make sure you ask your guardian!<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Nutrition and Healthy Eating<\/strong><br><strong><span class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-cyan-blue-color\">F is for Folate<\/span><\/strong><br>Do you ever find yourself telling your children, &#8220;Don&#8217;t forget to take your vitamin!&#8221; or &#8220;Eat your fruits and veggies\u2014 they\u2019re packed with vitamins!&#8221; But what exactly are vitamins and how do we explain them to our children? Vitamins and minerals are substances that are found in foods we eat. Our bodies need them to work properly, especially children who are growing and developing. When it comes to vitamins, each one has a special role to play.<br>Folate or folic acid also known as vitamin B9 is one of 8 B vitamins. It is found in nuts, fish\/meats and dairy and helps our bodies by converting our food into energy.
