Today in class, we divided the class into groups and each group was assigned to one of the four empires of Mesopotamia. (The Akkadian, Assyrian, Babylonian, and Neo-babylonian empires.) Students were asked to create a poster and every member was assigned to a task. Students were asked to create a title (name of empire and dates it ruled), re-create a time-line, write a summary, illustrate two drawings of achievements, and list 4 achievements for the empire. We will continue this assignment tomorrow in class.
