{"id":3387,"date":"2019-02-21T16:08:17","date_gmt":"2019-02-21T21:08:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/edesantis\/?p=3387"},"modified":"2019-02-21T16:08:17","modified_gmt":"2019-02-21T21:08:17","slug":"snow-read-at-home-program","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/edesantis\/2019\/02\/21\/snow-read-at-home-program\/","title":{"rendered":"Snow Read at Home Program"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Dear Snow Families,<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>A reminder about our <\/b><b><i>Read at Home Plan<\/i><\/b><b>. \u00a0Every Snow student should go home with <\/b><b><i>\u201cGood Fit\u201d<\/i><\/b><b> Books daily! \u201c<\/b><b><i>Good fit\u201d<\/i><\/b><b> books are books that are not too hard and not too easy. \u00a0The expectation is that students improve their reading skills and develop a love for reading<\/b><b>.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Snow School Read at Home Plan<\/b><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Reading Book Bags will go home daily with \u201c<i>Good Fit<\/i>\u201d Books<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Students must read daily:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Grades K-1\u00a0 \u00a0 15+ minutes daily<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Grade \u00a02\u00a0 \u00a0\u00a0 20+ minutes daily<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Grades 2-5\u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 30+ minutes daily<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Reading Logs- Signed daily by parents and\u00a0 checked by teachers.
