{"id":8551,"date":"2020-09-07T10:48:52","date_gmt":"2020-09-07T14:48:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/earlem\/?p=8551"},"modified":"2020-09-07T10:48:54","modified_gmt":"2020-09-07T14:48:54","slug":"schoology-for-tuesday","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/earlem\/2020\/09\/07\/schoology-for-tuesday\/","title":{"rendered":"Schoology for Tuesday!"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Dear Families,<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Patience and kindness are the most important words and actions this year!&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;This is new to all of us, including me, we will take it one day at a time and do the best we can each day.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here are the steps that I found are most helpful for students.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;I practiced logging on as a student over the weekend<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;You&nbsp;<strong>MUST<\/strong>&nbsp;log in through the student portal page of the Dearborn Schools website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Do NOT use the Schoology App.&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>It doesn&#8217;t have access to the district provided domains and resources. It&#8217;ll redirect you to the Global Zoom site and not the Dearborn Zoom site which is restricted to Dearborn School Users. So that will cause an error.&nbsp;<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>So&#8230;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Step 1: Go to&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.dearbornschools.org\/\">www.dearbornschools.org<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Step 2: Click &lt;Home&gt; tab in the heading banner, then &lt;Student Portal&gt;from the&nbsp;drop down menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Step 3: Click on Schoology. It will ask you to login with your Dearborn email address<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>(Student number)@<a href=\"http:\/\/dearbornschools.org\/\">dearbornschools.org<\/a><\/li><li>Student&#8217;s password<\/li><li>If you can&#8217;t log in &#8212;call the Help Desk at&nbsp;<a href=\"tel:313-827-3003\">313-827-3003<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Step 4:Once logged in you should see our Schoology Homepage: Click &lt;Courses&gt;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Step 5: Click on &lt;my courses&gt; on the right side<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Step 6: Scroll to the bottom of the long list where it says Ms. Earle and click &lt;2nd and 3rd grade&gt;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Step 7: Click on the Zoom meeting link at the top.
