I\nexplained this to students last week but I want you to know why there are two numbers\non the spelling test. Students will now\nreceive two grades for spelling. One for\ncorrectly spelling the spelling words (lower case unless at the beginning of a\nsentence or is a proper noun) and one for language. This will be for the sentence\nwritten, correctly spelling high frequency, capital and lower case letters where\nthey belong, and correct punctuation at the end of a sentence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
