{"id":261,"date":"2015-11-17T09:24:31","date_gmt":"2015-11-17T14:24:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/duquetk\/?page_id=261"},"modified":"2019-10-03T09:58:44","modified_gmt":"2019-10-03T13:58:44","slug":"retake-policy","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/duquetk\/retake-policy\/","title":{"rendered":"RETAKE POLICY"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><span style=\"color: #ff0000; text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>RETAKE POLICY<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>In order to be eligible for the retake, students must have the following:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>The original test must be signed by a parent\/guardian. <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">(If the original test was taken on ILearn, you will need to wait until the test is able to be reopened. \u00a0You will then need to print and correct your errors prior to having a retake.)<\/span><\/strong><\/span><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>All homework\/classwork\/bellwork must be completed on time.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Behavior in class must not be an issue.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>Student must be on time for the test.\u00a0 I will give two times for the retake, one before school and one after school.<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>\u00a0<span style=\"color: #3366ff;\">Students must write a short note explaining why they need a retake. \u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/span>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>The note must indicate which test is going to be taken. <\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>The studying strategy that will be used to improve test score. \u00a0[This means how you will\u00a0study. (flash cards, Quizlet, watch BrainPop videos, take a BrainPop quiz, study with a parent or sibling etc.) ]<\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"color: #3366ff;\"><strong>This note must be given to me\u00a0prior to the retake day, so that I am available and have enough tests printed. \u00a0<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">(This means the note, the signature and the test with corrections must be given to me at least the day BEFORE the test.) <\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>The retake test will be different from the original test. \u00a0The same concepts will be presented, but in a different format.
