{"id":243,"date":"2016-09-19T14:26:36","date_gmt":"2016-09-19T18:26:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/drinkes\/?p=243"},"modified":"2016-09-19T14:26:36","modified_gmt":"2016-09-19T18:26:36","slug":"the-week-of-september-19-2016-september-23-2016","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/drinkes\/2016\/09\/19\/the-week-of-september-19-2016-september-23-2016\/","title":{"rendered":"The Week of September 19, 2016 &#8211; September 23, 2016"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hello everyone,<\/p>\n<p>The open house from last week went very well. \u00a0It is great to see so many smiling faces. \u00a0In the event that you were not able to attend open house, you can contact me through email, a phone call, or in person. \u00a0If you come to my classroom, please check in with the front office staff first. \u00a0My prep is from 1:36 PM to 2:34 PM.<\/p>\n<p>Tuesday of this week, my classes will be doing a &#8220;cold read&#8221; for the district argumentative essay pre-assessment. \u00a0Each student will read and annotate today.<\/p>\n<p>Wednesday of this week, my classes will be planning and drafting the argumentative essay pre-assessment. \u00a0Each student will plan and draft today. \u00a0Also, each Wednesday, your son\/daughter will be turning in one reading response journal sheet.
