Welcome back from break. \u00a0I hope you all had fun. Did you work\u00a0on your math? \u00a0NWEA?<\/p>\n

Here are your next 6 IXL skills to work on for this week. \u00a0The quiz will be next Monday, Jan 12. \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 B1, B2, B3<\/strong>,(decimals) E1, E2,<\/strong>(exponents) H1<\/strong> (time)<\/p>\n

The following note will be going home on Monday so you can help explain to your parents one way you can improve your math grade.<\/p>\n

Here is one way to improve math grades: work on math skills daily.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Every Monday, you will be given 6 IXL skills to work on during the week.\u00a0 It will be on the blog if you are absent of forget to write them in your planner. Remember that if you get the answer wrong, an explanation follows.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

Every Monday there will be an IXL quiz where the questions will be taken directly from IXL.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

You have multiple avenues to get this work done.\u00a0 Not having a computer at home, or having a nonfunctional computer is NOT an excuse for not doing the work.\u00a0 Here\u2019s some suggestions as to where to find time to work on IXL: \u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

  1. Home computer, smart phone, iPad or any similar device.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n
  2. Occasionally, in class, time will be given.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n
  3. Before and after school, go to Homework help.\u00a0 You will also be able to ask the teacher if you don\u2019t understand the questions.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n
  4. Before school, 7:30am, in my classroom.<\/em><\/strong><\/li>\n
