On Thursday, May 22, we will be celebrating Earth Day. \u00a0Please have your child bring a bag lunch, blanket or towel to sit on during activities, and a potted flower to plant in the garden.<\/p>\n
Spelling booklets will be sent home today. \u00a0Please sign and return.<\/p>\n
The Unit 8 Math test will be sent home today. \u00a0Please sign and return.<\/p>\n
Unit 9 Math lessons will include counting by 1s and 10s using a number grid; adding and subtracting tens; adding and subtracting 2-digit numbers; and fractions.<\/p>\n
Writing lessons will focus on writing a personal narrative in which students write a story about a significant event in their life.<\/p>\n
Science lessons continue to focus on the three states of matter.<\/p>\n
Social Studies lessons involve ways to get along with others.<\/p>\n
Reminders: \u00a0Read for homework 15 minutes or more. \u00a0Students do not have school Friday, May 23 and Monday, May 26, 2014.<\/p>\n
