March is reading month. \u00a0Please encourage your child to read and participate in our reading challenge. \u00a0We will visit the book fair today. \u00a0If your child would like to buy books later in the week, they are allowed to visit the book fair.<\/p>\n
Spelling booklets will be sent home today. \u00a0Please sign and return.<\/p>\n
Unit 5 Math lessons include comparing numbers using <, >, and = symbols; counting coins; reading a thermometer; telling time; addition and subtraction. \u00a0Friday we will have the computation timed math test. \u00a0Practice pages will be sent home today.<\/p>\n
Social Studies lessons continue to focus on the study of Economics.<\/p>\n
Science lessons focus on the sky and weather.<\/p>\n
Writing lessons will involve how-to writing. \u00a0We will review how to make a paper chain and how to make a cake this week.<\/p>\n
Reminders: \u00a0Read for homework 15 minutes or more. \u00a0On Friday we will have our Spelling and Math computation tests, gym and return library books.<\/p>\n
