On Friday, February 14, 2014, we will be having our classroom Valentine’s Day party. \u00a0Students can bring a valentine card for each student in the class, if you wish to participate. \u00a0We have a total of 19 students. \u00a0There are 12 girls and 7 boys in our class. \u00a0Students can bring a game to play for the party.<\/p>\n
Unit 4 Math test will be sent home today. \u00a0Please sign and return the test. \u00a0Unit 5 Math lessons will include comparing numbers using <, > and = symbols; counting coins; reading a thermometer; telling time; addition and subtraction.<\/p>\n
We will have a Spelling test this week. \u00a0Please sign and return the booklet.<\/p>\n
Social Studies lessons continue to focus on the study of economics. \u00a0Students are learning to identify needs, wants, goods services, producers and consumers.<\/p>\n
Earth Science lessons focus on the study of Earth, sun, moon, stars and planets.<\/p>\n
Reminders: \u00a0Late Start Wednesday, February 12, 2014; Mid-Winter vacation, February 15 – 23; \u00a0Read for homework 15 minutes or more; On Friday we will have our Spelling test, gym and return library books.<\/p>\n
