On Friday, February 14, 2014, we will be having our classroom Valentine’s Day party. \u00a0Students can bring a valentine card for each student in the class, if you wish to participate. \u00a0We have a total of 19 students. \u00a0There are 12 girls and 7 boys in our class. \u00a0I will be sending home more information about our Valentine’s Day party soon.<\/p>\n
Writing lessons this week will continue to focus on a personal narrative or experience story.<\/p>\n
Unit 4 Math lessons include addition; subtraction; telling time; and measuring.<\/p>\n
Social Studies lessons focus on the study of economics. \u00a0Students are learning to identify needs, wants, goods, services, producers and consumers.<\/p>\n
Science lessons involve the study of weather and the four seasons.<\/p>\n
Reminders: \u00a0Read for homework 15 minutes or more; Spelling test Friday; Gym on Friday; Return library books Friday.<\/p>\n
