Students will be taking the NWEA Math Test on the computer this week. \u00a0Please talk to your child about taking their time and trying their best when they take the test. \u00a0Also, please make sure your child has a healthy breakfast. \u00a0Students will be taking the NWEA Reading Test on the computer soon.<\/p>\n
Spelling booklets will be sent home today. \u00a0Please sign and return the booklet.<\/p>\n
As we begin the third report card marking period, students will continue reading and writing a variety of narrative and informational text. \u00a0Please make sure your child is reading 20 minutes or more daily and recording minutes read on the January reading log. \u00a0This reinforces the reading students are doing in class during small group instruction.<\/p>\n
Social Studies lessons will focus on economics. \u00a0Students will learn about goods, services, producers and consumers as we study how our economy works.<\/p>\n
Science lessons will include the study of space and the solar system.<\/p>\n
Reminders: \u00a0Wear gym shoes and return library books on Monday.<\/p>\n
