We are having a Halloween party on Thursday, October 31, from 2:00 – 3:00. \u00a0Parents and younger brothers and sisters are invited to attend our party. Your child can wear a costume to school on Halloween. \u00a0Your child can bring a treat to share. \u00a0We will have Halloween treats, crafts and games.<\/p>\n
The Spelling test booklet will be sent home today with your child. \u00a0Please sign and have your child return it on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Math lessons this week will focus on using a number grid; telling time; counting pennies and nickels; counting by 2’s, 5’s and 10’s; tally marks; addition and subtraction.<\/p>\n
Social Studies lessons will focus on study of history, past present and future.<\/p>\n
Student Extra Credit Challenge – Write a sentence for each spelling word.<\/p>\n
Reminder – Tuesday – Wear gym shoes; \u00a0Friday – Return library book<\/p>\n
