Hello First Grade Families, \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a0 \u00a010\/7\/13<\/p>\n

Students will bring home Spelling Assessment booklets on Monday. \u00a0Please sign your child’s spelling test and have him or her bring it back Tuesday. \u00a0The Spelling Assessment booklets will be used throughout the school year.<\/p>\n

During Math, students will begin Unit 2. \u00a0Students will count using a number grid; practice writing their phone number; solve story problems; and use a calculator to solve problems.<\/p>\n

Social Studies lessons will continue to include study of history, past, present, and future.<\/p>\n

Return library books Friday.<\/p>\n

Tuesday is our PE (Gym) day. \u00a0Please have your child wear or bring gym shoes tomorrow.<\/p>\n

Student Extra Credit Challenge – Write a sentence for each spelling word.<\/p>\n
