The third report card marking period begins today. \u00a0Students will be receiving their report cards soon.<\/p>\n
Students will be taking the Unit 5 Math Test on Friday. \u00a0I will send home a study guide tomorrow. \u00a0Please help your child review for the test.<\/p>\n
Reading and writing lessons will focus on the informational genre. \u00a0Students will read about a variety of nonfiction topics. \u00a0Students will write an informational piece in which they write a topic sentence, supporting facts, and a concluding sentence.<\/p>\n
Science lessons will involve learning about the sun, moon, stars, and space systems and patterns as students study the solar system.<\/p>\n
Social Studies lessons will focus on geography. \u00a0Our unit of study is How So We Learn About Places?<\/p>\n
Please return the January reading log by Friday.<\/p>\n
Reminders: Return library books on Monday. \u00a0Read 15 minutes or more daily for homework. \u00a0Wear gym shoes on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
