I have graded the Social Studies tests. \u00a0Students did very well on the test. \u00a0The test can not be sent home. \u00a0I will show you your child’s test score at Parent Teacher Conferences.<\/p>\n
Spelling booklets will be sent home today. \u00a0Please sign and return.<\/p>\n
This week I will send home a study guide for the Unit 2 Math Test. \u00a0We will have the test on Wednesday, November 4. \u00a0Please help your child review for the test as part of our homework. \u00a0The extra practice really helps them do well.<\/p>\n
Our Halloween Party is this Friday from 1:00 – 2:00. \u00a0Again, students can wear their costumes to school. \u00a0We will make crafts, play games, and have snacks. \u00a0Please join us, if you have time. \u00a0We will walk in the school parade at 2:00.<\/p>\n
The whole first grade will be going on a field trip to the Ringling \u00a0Brothers Circus on Friday, November 13. \u00a0Parent chaperones are welcome. \u00a0You must provide your own transportation. \u00a0I will provide more information about the field trip soon.<\/p>\n
Reminders: \u00a0Read for homework 15 minutes or more; October reading logs are due on Monday, November 2; Wear gym shoes on Mondays; Visit library on Friday.<\/p>\n
