Imagine that one day, a few years from now, you become rich and become the owner of a\u00a0professional sports team. (basketball, football, baseball, or hockey)<\/p>\n
Please write a creative, interesting description of your sports team.<\/p>\n
Remember to describe<\/p>\n
\u2022 WHAT SPORT the team will play<\/p>\n
\u2022 WHERE the team will play (what city? what stadium? indoor? outdoor?)<\/p>\n
\u2022 WHAT the team jersey will LOOK LIKE<\/p>\n
\u2022 WHO will play on the team<\/p>\n
\u2022 and, of course, the team\u2019s NAME<\/p>\n
Remember: SHOW not TELL and details, details, details.<\/p>\n
1. First, write a rough draft on loose leaf. Please skip lines for the rough draft. Your rough draft should be\u00a0AT LEAST one page (skipping lines) but more than one page is probably better.<\/p>\n
2. Read through your draft. Use colored pencils to REVISE your rough draft. You should make at least\u00a0three improvements to your rough draft.<\/p>\n
3. On a new sheet of loose leaf, write a final copy. You should take your time and use your best handwriting\u00a0for your final copy. DO NOT SKIP LINES! Please try to fit your final copy on the FRONT only of the loose\u00a0leaf.<\/p>\n
4. Neatly staple your final copy on top of your rough draft.<\/p>\n
HINT: Your rough draft and final copy are due IN CLASS! Please get right to work and do not waste time in\u00a0class. This assignment is worth AT LEAST 10 points, probably more.<\/p>\n
