{"id":3661,"date":"2019-05-29T08:11:13","date_gmt":"2019-05-29T12:11:13","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/dobertn7\/?p=3661"},"modified":"2019-05-29T11:16:27","modified_gmt":"2019-05-29T15:16:27","slug":"wednesday-134","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/dobertn7\/2019\/05\/29\/wednesday-134\/","title":{"rendered":"WEDNESDAY&#8230;"},"content":{"rendered":"<h4><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\"><em><strong>YOU MUST REMAIN <span style=\"color: #000000;\">VERY QUIET<\/span> AS LONG AS STUDENTS ARE NWEA TESTING!<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>READ ALL THIS:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>My aunt, Lillie Cecelia Dobert, passed away during the early hours of Tuesday morning.\u00a0 I will be absent TOMORROW for the funeral.<\/li>\n<li>You MUST stay in your assigned seats whenever you have a substitute.\u00a0 I will be asking my teacher squad friends to randomly check in and make sure you are in your assigned seats.<\/li>\n<li>As I&#8217;ve been telling you since September &#8230; there WILL be <span style=\"color: #008000;\"><strong>THREE BIG TESTS<\/strong><\/span> coming soon in ELA class.\u00a0 Some students will not have to take these tests.\n<ul>\n<li>reading test (QAR) = 100 points<\/li>\n<li>writing test (essay) = 100 points<\/li>\n<li>surprise mystery test = 100 points<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>You shouldn&#8217;t be shocked that there are final exams at the end of the year.\u00a0 This will be a normal part of your life in high school and college.<\/li>\n<li>If you are NWEA testing today, you must sit ALONE!<\/li>\n<li>If your NWEA tests are finished <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>AND<\/strong> <\/span>your B-W is finished <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>AND<\/strong> <\/span>you are done with ALL SEVEN pages of your composition book, you are free to choose something quiet to work on.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>B-W\u00a0 (You DO <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">NOT<\/span> have to do this B-W if you are still NWEA testing.)<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>[loose leaf]<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>Write ONE long, strong, interesting sentence that includes a person, a place, a thing, and an idea or feeling.\u00a0 \u00a0Circle the person.\u00a0 Underline the place. Draw a box around the thing.\u00a0 Double underline the idea or feeling.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><em><strong>IF YOU&#8217;RE NOT SURE HOW TO DO THIS B-W, READ THE HW PAPER FROM LAST NIGHT!<\/strong><\/em><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>CW1: Continue\/complete your NWEA READING test.<\/p>\n<p>CW2: Continue\/complete your NWEA LANGUAGE test.<\/p>\n<p>CW3: Show me that you have finished <em><strong>ALL SEVEN<\/strong><\/em> pages in your composition book.
