To help students get organized:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li> I have set up a google classroom.  ( class code ollkaut)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>All of my math students used class time to sign up.  <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>It is important to be able to access the information in their notebooks.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Students need to open the slide shows and complete work when absent<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Bellwork is kept in the back of their notebook .<ul><li>each entry should be dated<\/li><li>the question or problems should be included<\/li><li>it should include any work needed to solve the problem<\/li><li>the correct answer<\/li><\/ul><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Classwork is kept in the front of the notebook. <ul><li>each entry should be dated. <\/li><li>all work related to their instructional book.<\/li><li>class notes<\/li><\/ul><\/li><li>Students should check googleclassroom to make sure their notebooks are up to date. <\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>As we begin sixth grade the transition from elementary to middle school can seem overwhelming.
