Barring any unforeseen circumstances, I am planning on working up until this little one decides to make her debut. \u00a0I will return either at the beginning of January or at the beginning of February, depending upon my approved leave through the school district. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Once I leave, the children will be left in very capable hands. The long term substitute for our classroom is Mrs. Lynda Smith. She has been working in the district for ten years and has completed many long-term substitute positions for friends of mine who have gone on maternity leave. Mrs. Smith will be working in our classroom before I begin my maternity leave, so that she may get to know the children and the routines of our classroom. This will allow the children to become familiar with her too. I am dedicated to the success of every child in my classroom and feel confident that I have found a substitute for our class who has the same goals. I will be preparing the children for my leave by talking to them about the baby, talking to them about Mrs. Smith, and working hard to get all of our routines in place to provide a seamless transition.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It is my privilege to teach your children and I look forward to completing the year with all of you!
