Please be sure to put your child on reading eggs and math seeds each night. It can be for just 10 minutes per night, but it will greatly improve their reading, writing, and math. You could do 10 minutes of reading eggs on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Then do 10 minutes of math seeds on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday or Sunday. Feel free to do more than 10 minutes if your schedule allows! These programs really are beneficial for the growth and development of your child!<\/p>\n

We learned the sound of each letter and practiced identifying objects that begin with each letter sound. Please continue to help your child correctly hold a pencil and form each letter.<\/p>\n We completed a retelling of The Little Old Lady Who Was Not Afraid of Anything. The children loved this story and were able to sequence the events which took place. Ask your child to retell this story to you, using the sequence map they brought home on Wednesday.<\/p>\n We worked on our writing this week and focused on beginning the sentence with an uppercase (capital letter), having finger spaces between words, and ending the sentence with a period.
