I went to the University of Michigan school of music. I studied piano, voice, and french horn. I received my degree as an instrumental music teacher in 1985. I am a proud father of five amazingly accomplished adult children, four sons and a daughter. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family, running, and writing music. I’ve run 20 marathons. I have composed three symphonic works performed by the Nashville Symphony and the Dearborn Symphony Orchestras. I have composed over 20 published songs for children and choirs. For the past twenty seven years I have taught in Dearborn Schools, most recently at Stout Middle School as the instrumental and vocal music teacher. I also taught in Vandercook Lake, Michigan and Muskegon, Michigan.

It is with great pride and a sense of privilege that I begin this incredible opportunity as the Dearborn High School instrumental music teacher.
