Practice writing your first name.<\/li><li>Writer\u2019s Workshop-Opinion writing:\u00a0 Write about your favorite part of \u201cIf You Take a Mouse to School.\u00a0 \u00a0Students should draw a picture and label the picture to the best of their ability.\u00a0 They will dictate a sentence to an adult and the adult can write it for them.\u00a0Please follow the WOW writing rules we went over today.\u00a0 Step 1: Write their name and date at the top.\u00a0 Step 2: Think of their story.\u00a0 Every story should have a beginning, middle and end.\u00a0 Step 3:\u00a0 Students count how many words are in their sentences and draw that many lines for the words. Step 4: Students will write the words for their sentences on the lines (to the best of their ability).\u00a0 Step 5:\u00a0 Sketch a picture and label the picture with words or beginning sounds.\u00a0 Step 6:\u00a0 Color the picture.\u00a0<\/li><li>Math lesson 9 page 39.<strong><em> I added a video in case the students need to see the lesson again.\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/li><li>Read using one of the three ways to read a book for 15 minutes.\u00a0(Read the words, read the pictures or retell the story.)<\/li><\/ol>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Here is a reminder of the Independent Work for Friday, September 18, 2020.
