Ask your student what they are. We looked at a variety of examples of the different types which helped to better understand each type.\u00a0 We wrapped up the week looking at how an author uses good describing words to create the setting of a story giving us clues that help us visualize and make connections to a particular setting. We even created our own settings and had students try to guess where the setting was.<\/span><\/h4>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">Next week, on Tuesday, we will be going to the library to either recheck out our current books, if we are not done, or get a new good fit chapter book. We have also started conferring with the students about their books making sure they are good fit books and discussing their books with them.<\/span><\/h4>\n<h4><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">We would like the students to complete as many books as they can this year.
