We went over a lot of rules, procedures, and expectations for our classroom. Since Mrs. Edgerton is ASL certified (American Sign Language), she has taught us a lot of\u00a0 signs for a variety of rules using whole brain Strategies. We also read a book that was written by a former teacher at Smith. Huda Essa. She taught use the importance of learning each other&#8217;s name and also how we should be proud of our name.\u00a0 We also started using our class scoreboard to earn points and compete against other hours for make good choices and following the rules of our classroom.<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n<p><span style=\"color: #339966;\"><span style=\"color: #339966;\"><b>This coming up week, we will start learning\u00a0 how to become better readers by acquiring\u00a0strategies that will help propel us to work in groups so that we can teach and learn through our peers, this is called Reading Apprenticeship.
