I now have a clearer picture of what is happening. Teachers (that’s me) are expected to post assignments daily to ensure that students (y’all) maintain the progress they have made so far this year and continue to grow. Therefore, there will be a different assignment posted every weekday from Khan Academy (Either from our Geometry content or for SAT Practice). Juniors assignments will likely all have to do with SAT practice and we’ll have separate assignments for seniors. These assignments will be posted on Google Classroom the night before. On Sunday night I will post Monday’s assignment. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
I have made a class for each hour on Khan Academy to join. The links and the class codes are provided below. The ideas is that you spend 15-20 a day to keep up or enhance your math skills. We would also like to remind you to read. I had terrible reading comprehension when I was in high school and it reflected on my ability to think. As I began to read more in college, both fiction and non-fiction, it made me a better thinker and therefore a much better and more consciousness person. An SRI Goal of 1200 is the expectation for ALL students. We’ve also been told to remind you to check your emails daily. I have already posted a video going over both math sections of SAT Practice Test 8.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I am suppose to contact your parents if these assignments are not being completed. And I have nothing going on so I have all day to email and call your parents about how you’re neglecting your education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
