We also discussed &#8220;The Jacket&#8221; and the figurative language found within the story. We ended class with a review game to help study for Monday&#8217;s test!\u00a0 \u00a0Feel free to use the review game on Google Classroom to help you study this weekend!<\/p>\n<p>Enjoy your weekend!<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Unit 2 Comprehension Test is on Monday, January 22nd!<\/strong>\u00a0This will be open book (NOT open note!) about the stories \u201cAll Summer in a Day\u201d and \u201cThe Jacket\u201d. It will also contain application of identifying and labeling figurative language in a story.\u00a0 Review prior concepts learned in class as well (point of view, pyramid of action, types of conflict, genre, mood\/tone, story devices, story vocabulary).<\/p>\n<p><strong>ISN\u2019s will be collected for grading on\u00a0Wednesday January 24th.<\/strong>\u00a0Make sure your table of contents is up to date and you don\u2019t have missing notes!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Unit 3 Vocabulary\/Grammar test is also Wednesday.\u00a0<span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Practice on on Google Classroom and Quizlet.<\/span> <\/strong>Study figurative language definitions and application, adjectives, adverbs, conjunctions, pronouns, and preposition application.
