Later in the class we chose a focus for our argumentative essay and had a group discussion based on our topic choice. We also wrote our thesis statements so we can begin planning out our essays tomorrow.<\/p>\n<p>Have a great evening!<\/p>\n<p><b>Homework<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Moby Max Language Lessons (85% or higher for full points \u2013 may retake until you receive this score or higher!) \u2013 DUE JANUARY 9th<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>Interjections<\/li>\n<li>Subjective, Objective, and Possessive Pronouns<\/li>\n<li>Pronoun and Antecedents<\/li>\n<li>Vague Pronoun<\/li>\n<li>Adjectives<\/li>\n<li>Comparative and Superlative Adjectives<\/li>\n<li>Sequencing Adjectives<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li><strong>60 minutes reading chapter book (over the course of the week!)\u00a0<\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>One-Pager #3 &amp; #4 \u2013 Due no later than January 26th<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Students that want to retake the Vocabulary Test MUST:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Not have missing MobyMax homework or Letters of Complaint (check Student connect, missing assignments are marked as \u201cMissing\u201d, blank scores ARE NOT missing)<\/li>\n<li>Attend Tuesdays (December 19th) NJHS tutoring session. It starts at 3:00pm in Mrs. Bailey\u2019s room. There will be assignment they will work on with their tutor that they must bring with them to the retake session (This is\u00a0non-negotiable! If you don\u2019t attend this you cannot take the retake. Tutoring sessions help you STUDY and Ask Questions so\u00a0 you can better understand!!
