We will be working on this in class for the next week. Students should have finished their research today and started to create their PowerPoint presentation collaboratively.\u00a0This project will be worth <strong>50 summative points<\/strong> and the students will be given most of class each day (about 80 minutes) for the next week to complete the project. They will be required to create a collaborative PowerPoint presentation as well as a theme scrapbook page to present their folktale to the class. I will provide the scrapbook paper next week, any other materials (stickers, printouts, etc.) will be at the student&#8217;s discretion and can be brought from home. \u00a0We will begin presenting these <b>next Thursday, April 20th<\/b>. This assignment will heavily impact the students\u2019 grades for fifth marking so using class time wisely with their group members will be essential for their success.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Reminder: \u00a0No School tomorrow\u00a0(April 14th)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Have a great (long) weekend!<\/p>\n<p><b><u>Homework<\/u><\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Read<\/b> 20 minutes and <b>respond<\/b> on reading log<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Today we continued with our folktale project.
