I hope we all had a safe and relaxing break. \u00a0Yesterday we revisited our Daily 5 expectations and class agreements. We then reviewed &#8220;All Summer in a Day&#8221; (both story and film). \u00a0Today we began making connections to our article of the week and was introduced to organizing a Formal Letter. \u00a0Tomorrow we will begin our &#8220;Letter of Complaint&#8221; with the topic being &#8220;All Summer in a Day&#8221;. \u00a0We will continue writing, editing\/revising, and finalizing this letter throughout the week.<\/p>\n<p>NWEA testing is approaching! (end of the month) \u00a0Please ensure that your student is reading their &#8220;good fit&#8221; book at home 5 times a week! \u00a0The only way to improve in reading is to practice reading! Talking about what they are reading will help boost their comprehension tremendously.
