This week’s assignments are already up and posted on Google Classroom. It is labeled March 30th-April 3rd – click the assignment to open the instructions.<\/strong> This week you have another Newsela (please follow the directions exactly), 10 more Read Theory (should have 65 since Jan. 18th for full credit), and your last 4 IXL lessons, along with reading your chapter book. (I sent an email to students about how I graded IXL – please read your email). There is not work next week due to Spring Break.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n After Spring Break, we will be starting a novel study on the book The Giver<\/span> by Lois Lowry. I realize libraries are closed and getting access to a book may be difficult. I have a PDF copy of the book I will upload to iLearn for those of you that can’t get access to ebooks or purchase a copy of your own. I strongly<\/em> encourage<\/em> you to have your own hard copy<\/strong> that you can highlight and annotate in – and can be used for quizzes. The PDF version is a little more difficult to manage and there isn’t an opportunity to annotate with it – but you will still be able to use it on quizzes as well. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Target and Amazon have the best price for the book right now but I also included a link to Barnes and Noble.
