We reviewed how to catch our readers attention with a &#8220;hook&#8221; and provide our reader with background information on the topic. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Unit 3 Comprehension Test is Tuesday, March 10.<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>This will cover theme, making connections, \u201cThe Good Deed\u201d (open book), and your theme project story choice (open book).&nbsp; All skills learned previously are subject to be on any test, this includes figurative&nbsp;language &amp; genre!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>All missing assignments are due&nbsp;no later than March 20th&nbsp;and are subject to 10% loss of points.<\/strong>&nbsp;If it is an online assignment, it is YOUR responsibility to tell me it\u2019s completed.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Homework<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Read Theory<\/strong>\u00a0(5 passed every week) \u2013<strong>\u00a030 passed since January 18th<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Read\u00a0<\/strong>your \u201cgood fit\u201d book for 20 minutes (you need to do this for your One-Pagers!)<\/li><li><strong>IXL\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Theme (B #1-2) &amp; Adjectives (EE #1, 2, 7) \u2013 due by Friday March 13th!<\/li><li><strong>Article of the Week \u2013 PRO\/CON: Binge-watching TV due TOMORROW!<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>One-Pager #5 &amp; 6 due March 20th<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 2 weeks from today!!!<\/li><li><strong>All late and missing assignments are due no later than March 20th and are subject to 10% loss of points.<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We continued working on our Theme Projects today.
