Today we practiced writing a thesis statement for an essay that was missing the introduction. Tomorrow, we&#8217;ll finish the rest of our introduction for that essay.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Unit 3 Comprehension Test is Tuesday, March 10.<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>This will cover theme, making connections, \u201cThe Good Deed\u201d (open book), and your theme project story choice (open book).\u00a0 All skills learned previously are subject to be on any test, this includes figurative\u00a0language &amp; genre!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>All missing assignments are due <span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">no later than March 20th<\/span> and are subject to 10% loss of points.<\/strong>  If it is an online assignment, it is YOUR responsibility to tell me it&#8217;s completed. <\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Homework<\/span><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Read Theory<\/strong>\u00a0(5 passed every week) \u2013<strong>\u00a030 passed since January 18th<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Read\u00a0<\/strong>your \u201cgood fit\u201d book for 20 minutes (you need to do this for your One-Pagers!)<\/li><li><strong>IXL\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Theme (B #1-2) &amp; Adjectives (EE #1, 2, 7) \u2013 due by Friday March 13th!<\/li><li><strong>Article of the Week \u2013 PRO\/CON: Binge-watching TV due Friday!<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>One-Pager #5 &amp; 6 due March 20th<\/strong> &#8211; 2.5 weeks from today!!!<\/li><li><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">All late and missing assignments are due no later than March 20th and are subject to 10% loss of points.<\/span><\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We continued working on our Theme Projects today.
