At the end of class we were given a MSTEP-like writing prompt and were asked to break it down as a group and write it out in kid friendly words. This was a struggle, but a good one! At the end we discussed what made us struggle so we can get a better understanding of what we need to work on with future writing prompts.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4 style=\"text-align: center;\"><b><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Unit 3 Comprehension Test is TOMORROW!!<\/span> This will cover theme, making connections, \u201cThe Good Deed\u201d (open book), and your theme story choice (open book).\u00a0 All skills learned previously are subject to be on any test, this includes figurative\u00a0language &amp; genre!<\/b><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h4><strong>Newsela Article of the Week due by end of class tomorrow!<\/strong><\/h4>\n<h4><strong>ALL MOBYMAX IS DUE MARCH 15TH.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<h4><strong>One Pagers 5 &amp; 6 are due\u00a0no later than\u00a0MARCH 22ND.<\/strong><\/h4>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Homework<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Newsela Article of the Week due TOMORROW\u00a0<\/strong>\u2013 Annotations, Quiz, and CER response<\/li>\n<li><strong>5 ReadTheory passed by Sunday!
