Student&#8217;s chose a story (either &#8220;The School Play&#8221; or &#8220;Eleven&#8221;) as their focus and went back to the text to find evidence related to the setting of the story (when the story took place or where it took place).\u00a0 They needed to find at least 4 quotes about the setting and draw pictures to represent that quote. They were given at least an hour to work on this. If they did not finish it is now homework and is due Thursday October 25th.<\/p>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/www.emsisd.com\/cms\/lib\/TX21000533\/Centricity\/Domain\/1723\/The%20School%20Play%20story.pdf\">&#8220;The School Play&#8221; story &#8211; click here<\/a><\/h2>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/my.ccsd.net\/userdocs\/documents\/qP2lEuWcYaAQAtMW.pdf\">&#8220;Eleven&#8221; story &#8211; click here<\/a><\/h2>\n<h2><a href=\"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/dailing\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2099\/2018\/10\/Unit-1-Setting-Map-Project.docx\">Unit 1 Setting Map Project &#8211; project directions and final copy paper<\/a><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Students have a Parts of Speech quiz Thursday (10\/25).\u00a0 They may use their ISN, MobyMax homework, and Quizlet to study.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Parts of Speech Rap \u2013\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=VQJZHrgpg_0\">https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=VQJZHrgpg_0<\/a><\/p>\n<h3><strong>One-Pager #1 and #2 are due IN 3 DAYS!!! (October 26th)\u00a0Each student should have TWO full novels read by this point in the year if they are to finish their One-Pagers on time.\u00a0These are 20 points summative each and will impact their grade tremendously if not turned in. Please make sure you are not waiting until the last day to complete these,\u00a0they will take more than an evening to complete.<\/strong><\/h3>\n<h2><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Homework<\/span>:<\/strong><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Read 100 minutes of your chapter book this week!!<\/strong>\u00a0(whenever it fits into your busy schedule!
