We did small group Reading and Writing workshop stations today after silent reading time.\u00a0 Any student did not complete their Double Entry Journals from yesterday worked with me in a small group until they finished.<\/p>\n

If you did not finish chunks 1-7 today it is homework! I will be collecting this tomorrow! Here is the story and guiding questions. Remember, we are only focusing on the important events in the story and are DIRECTLY quoting from the text. (word-for-word, exactly how the author wrote it)<\/strong><\/p>\n

Mrs. Dailing\u2019s Extended Day Students ONLY<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 I sent a note home yesterday letting you know that Thursday\u2019s session is moved to TODAY! Don\u2019t forget! This does not apply to any other extended day sessions!<\/p>\n

One-Pager #1 and #2 are due IN TWO WEEKS!!! (October 26th)\u00a0Each student should have at least ONE full novel read by this point in the year and should be almost finished with their 2nd book if they are to finish their One-Pagers on time.<\/strong>\u00a0These are 20 points summative each and will impact their grade tremendously if not turned in. Please make sure you are not waiting until the last day to complete these, they will take more than an evening to complete.<\/p>\n
