This is something we will be working on all year long as a close and critical reading process. We also began to talk about making a claim when we answer questions.<\/p>\n<p>Block 2 &amp; 3 did not finish their &#8220;Talk to the Tex&#8221; activity due to picture day setting us behind the other classes. This was assigned as homework if it wasn&#8217;t completed in class and we will come prepared to discuss the reading &#8220;Hang Up and Drive&#8221; tomorrow. Just make sure it totals 100 minutes)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Summer Learning Book talk<\/strong>\u00a0<strong>is due September 27th<\/strong>! Be prepared to present with your finished book talk on this day!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Read Theory \u2013 5 more quizzes passed by the end of class tomorrow!!<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Summer Learning Expectation for all 6th graders:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Read\u00a0<strong>3-5 novels<\/strong>\u00a0over the summer (no graphic novels). Be prepared to do a book talk when you arrive in the Fall!
