We took notes in our ISN and discussed types of writing could be Persuasive, Informative, or for Entertainment.\u00a0 For writer&#8217;s workshop, we took a writing Pre-assessment so I can see where we need to begin with C.E.R. and various writing skills.<\/p>\n<p>Tomorrow is our first late start day! School begins at 9:00am, buses pick up an hour after they usually do. Don&#8217;t forget!<\/p>\n<\/header>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Homework:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Read 100 minutes this week!!<\/strong>\u00a0(whenever it fits into your busy schedule! Just make sure it totals 100 minutes)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Summer Learning Book talk<\/strong>\u00a0is due September 27th! Be prepared to present with your finished book talk on this day!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Read Theory \u2013 5 more quizzes passed by the end of class Friday!!<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Summer Learning Expectation for all 6th graders:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Read\u00a0<strong>3-5 novels<\/strong>\u00a0over the summer (no graphic novels). Be prepared to do a book talk when you arrive in the Fall!
