This is where students will keep track of their NWEA scores and Academic Goals for this year. This will be used as their portfolio throughout their entire middle school experience with Dearborn so they can go back and see how they have grown as a student.\u00a0 Any student that was absent will need to sit with me this week and complete this as it takes a substantial amount of time to put together!<\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">Homework<\/span>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Read 100 minutes this week!!<\/strong> (whenever it fits into your busy schedule! Just make sure it totals 100 minutes)<\/li>\n<li><strong>Summer Learning Book talk<\/strong> is due September 27th! Be prepared to present with your finished book talk on this day!<\/li>\n<li><strong>Read Theory \u2013 5 more quizzes passed by the end of class Friday!!<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Summer Learning Expectation for all 6th graders:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Read\u00a0<strong>3-5 novels<\/strong>\u00a0over the summer (no graphic novels). Be prepared to do a book talk when you arrive in the Fall!
