I am very excited to start a new school year and get to know each and every one of you! Today I passed out my Parent Letter and class syllabus. This is very important information to know so please go over this at home with a parent sometime this week so everyone is on the same page! I also passed out a PG movie permission slip. This applies to all of your classes this year and will be due the Tuesday we return from Labor Day weekend (9\/4\/18).<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Homework:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Summer Learning Book talk is due September 27th! Be prepared to present with your finished book talk on this day!<\/li>\n<li>You need a composition notebook in class by September 4th<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Summer Learning Expectation for all 6th graders:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">Read\u00a0<strong>3-5 novels<\/strong>\u00a0over the summer (no graphic novels). Be prepared to do a book talk when you arrive in the Fall!
