{"id":1350,"date":"2020-02-03T14:33:45","date_gmt":"2020-02-03T19:33:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/dagherd\/?p=1350"},"modified":"2020-02-09T15:11:49","modified_gmt":"2020-02-09T20:11:49","slug":"week-of-feb-3-7","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/iblog.dearbornschools.org\/dagherd\/2020\/02\/03\/week-of-feb-3-7\/","title":{"rendered":"Week of Feb. 3-7-Updated"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Monday 2\/3<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Science Fair<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Today was the third &#8220;in-class&#8221; work day.<\/li><li>Students have worked at their own pace to complete the first four steps of the scientific method for their project.<\/li><li>To stay on pace, students should have identified their question (step 1) and began the background research (step 2). <\/li><li>An ungraded checklist will be entered into the grade book so that you can monitor your child&#8217;s progress.<\/li><li>Steps 1-4 are on Google Classroom but each step must be checked in with me before the next step can be started.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Step 1 Question: If it has not been checked in by Tuesday, Feb.  11, 2020, I will assign a question to the student. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Body Systems<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>We built a noodle tower.  Itwas an intro activity for lesson 9.<\/li><li>All past work, Scientific Method Foldable, and assignments 19-24 are on Google Classroom.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Wednesday 2\/5<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Newsela.com CERs<\/li><li>Students were assigned four articles to read on Newsela.com and complete the correlating CERs.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Friday 2\/7<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>23 Tissue Engineering Solutions was redone as a class <\/li><li>25 Tissue Repair<\/li><li>26 Tissue Repair CER<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-background has-medium-font-size has-vivid-red-background-color\"><strong>Body Systems Unit Test-Week of Feb. 24-28<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We have been studying this unit since November. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There will NOT be a study guide.  All past assignments 1-current are the what needs to be studied.
