This past week we began NWEA testing and all the students have been doing amazing.<\/p>\n
This week we will finish our NWEA testing and I only expect the best to continue.<\/p>\n
We took our first spelling test last week and will continue to do spelling this week and in the upcoming weeks unless otherwise noted.<\/p>\n
In Math we are continuing our work on fractions.\u00a0 We are creating fractions from a shape, writing fractions, determining fractional parts, and matching fractional shapes with their words\/fraction.<\/p>\n
In Language Arts, we will continue to work on our word choice and begin our first writing assignment.\u00a0 We will be working on our favorite activity and giving an introduction, details, and a conclusion.\u00a0 We will use Thinking Maps to help guide our writing.<\/p>\n
In Science, we are continuing on with Earth Science and focusing on Landforms this week.\u00a0 We will be focusing on the types of landforms and digging into the vocabulary.<\/p>\n
