Happy New Year!!!<\/p>\n

I can not believe how fast the winter break has gone by! I hope all of you spent quality time with your families & were able to have some down time.<\/p>\n

Here’s what’s happening this week…<\/p>\n

Math~ Both grades will begin the week with a pre-test for the next unit.<\/p>\n

Social Studies~ Both grades will continue working on their travel brochures.<\/p>\n

Science~ We will continue with experiments this week. We will be wrapping up both units during these next couple weeks.<\/p>\n

ELA~ Wonder Literature Unit will be completing during these next couple weeks.
\nWriting~Students will begin Informational Writing. It will be linked to Science and\/or Social Studies.<\/p>\n

I will be sending home new reading logs with a home component this week. Look for the note in your child’s folder.<\/p>\n

Spelling~ New words, activities and projects this week!<\/p>\n

NWEA testing begins this week. Our first assessment will be on 1\/11\/18 Reading. Please make sure your child is arrives to school that day on time, gets plenty of rest and has a hearty breakfast. We will begin the test at 9:00 a.m.<\/p>\n

NO SCHOOL Monday, January 15, 2018.<\/p>\n

Late Start- January 17, 2018.<\/p>\n

1\/2 day 11:45 a.m. dismissal on Friday, January 26, 2018.<\/p>\n
