Hello parents and students! \u00a0We are already into Week #3 of the school year. \u00a0Below are things that are happening this week in our classroom.<\/p>\n

6th grade:<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n

~ SLOT Quiz on Long Division will be on Friday 9\/23.<\/p>\n

~ Students were NWEA Testing (Monday and Tuesday). \u00a0Please encourage your child to perform at his or her best.<\/p>\n

~ Students will continue to practice finding the area of squares and rectangles and will be introduced to triangles.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

7th grade Math Lab:<\/em>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

~Students have been introduced to Adding & Subtracting Integers.<\/p>\n

~Students will be engaged in activities pertaining to adding & subtracting integers.<\/p>\n

~Students received homework support.<\/p>\n

8th grade Math Lab:\u00a0<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n

~Students finished up practice of Order of Operations (P.E.M.D.A.S.). \u00a0Students will see this in their SLOT in their Math class.<\/p>\n

~Students practice & reviewed how to solve one & two step equations.<\/p>\n

~Students practice identifying rational and irrational numbers.<\/p>\n

~Students received homework support.<\/p>\n
