As a quick outline, please use the following guide: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ELA:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Raz-kids for leveled books<\/li><li>Reading Eggs for foundational skills\/phonics<\/li><li>Close-reading passages (posted on blog last week)<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Math:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Zearn for curriculum pacing (Eureka math lessons)<\/li><li>Math Seeds for foundational skills<\/li><li>ixlgames.com (TONS of fun games) <\/li><li>Succeed math book <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Writing: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Follow blueprint guidelines<\/li><li>This week&#8217;s topic is a narrative piece: Write about your favorite family vacation. Give me lots of details!<\/li><li>Feel free to take a picture of your child&#8217;s writing at the end of the week and send it to me via ClassDojo and I will provide feedback \ud83d\ude42 <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Science:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Mystery Science &#8211; continue working through the mysteries <br>I posed last week on my remote learning plans (1 or 2 a week is fine) <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Social Studies:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>The first grade teams are still working on finding online resources to help support our next unit on maps. There&#8217;s not a whole lot as of now, but we ask that you use basic maps you can google online and explain why we use maps, how to read maps, explain a compass rose (directions) and reading map keys. <\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Additionally, I have a bunch of additional websites and paper\/pencil activities that you can print off if you are looking for additional resources. You can find these websites on my blog under the &#8220;educational sites&#8221; tab or on my remote lesson plan document. If you need any help finding these resources, please comment on this post or message me on dojo. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Also, there are great online virtual field trips that I find incredible. I know they are available because of these very unfortunate circumstances, but they really are great and I think the kids would love them! They&#8217;re fun for the whole family!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I am here for you. I&#8217;m available during regular schools hours (8:30-3:30) if you need anything at all. I hope everyone is staying safe and healthy and doing okay.
