This post is just a friendly reminder that ALL students, whether they were in school, or not, last week, are required to have their Literary Letter, Exit Tickets and Book Timeline entries to turn in tomorrow.\u00a0 This work was assigned at the beginning of the card-marking and the due date posted in several locations, including a calendar given to all students at the end of April\u00a0 This calendar is available in an earlier post, as well.<\/p>\n
I have included the specific directions for the final letter.\u00a0 Please email me ASAP with any further questions.<\/p>\n
Final Literary Letter-Reflection on the Year<\/b><\/p>\n
For the final card-marking Literary Letter you will still write in letter format (with Dear Mrs. Corriveau, write specific paragraphs and sign your name), but the focus will be more reflective on your year of reading.<\/span><\/p>\n Please use the following outline:<\/span><\/p>\n Dear Mrs. Corriveau,<\/span><\/p>\n Paragraph #1-Describe yourself as a reader. How often do you read and where\/when do you like to read? Tell me here how many books you have completed this year and which one was your favorite?<\/span><\/p>\n Paragraph #2-Describe what you do when you hit a \u201croadblock\u201d in your reading. Either a boring book, or very challenging vocabulary.<\/span><\/p>\n Paragraph #3- Tell me what you think has been your greatest accomplishment this year as far as reading? What have you done to help make this accomplishment possible?<\/span><\/p>\n Paragraph #4-Reflect on how you have changed from the beginning of the year to the end of the year as a reader.
