Welcome back everyone! I hope you all enjoyed Spring Break 2020. #staycation

Today’s Assignment:<\/strong>
We will be exploring themes within the Cold War and the 1950s this week and next. We will have assignments posted Monday, Wednesday, and Friday this week. Today’s assignment on Cold War topics will be due Wednesday, 04-15-20.

Directions:<\/strong>
1.) Read each of the three<\/span> <\/strong>articles\/websites assigned below. This assignment is also on iLearn.
Article 1: The Berlin Airlift Newspaper Coverage<\/a>
Article 2: The Truman Doctrine<\/a>
Article 3: Deadly Lessons: The Last Time China and America Went to War<\/a>

2.) Choose one<\/strong> of the articles to reflect upon and answer the questions on a U.S. History Reflection Activity sheet<\/a>. In your writing you must include at least 5 sentences in a paragraph and use complete sentences for the summary, personal reflection, and historical relevance sections. Use as much space as needed under each section on the sheet.

3.) Save the Reflection Activity sheet to your Google Drive and share it with me (connore@dearbornschools.org) OR<\/span><\/strong> submit your sheet on iLearn (Cold War Topics Reflection Activity 1).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meal Distribution:<\/strong> Remember our meal distribution program runs Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm noon. You can pick up meals (breakfast and lunch) from any of the following locations: DHS, FHS, EFHS, OL Smith, Woodworth, Salina Inter. & McCollough\/Unis.
