As you’ve heard, we the teachers are now required to send you the week’s assignments by noon on Sundays and expect to have it turned in by you on Fridays at 10 a.m. Some of you have been keeping up with the work during this crisis, while others I’ve not heard from at all. So, to get us all going on the same page, this week is just review\/catchup.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I’d like you to finish everything up to Unit 5: Lesson 5. Your app should work flawlessly by Friday at 10 a.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Also, we will be having a Google Hangout so I get to see your faces for a required weekly check-in. Anybody who does not check-in will be getting a phone call from the SRT people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Basic etiquette (the norms) for a hangout:<\/p>\n\n\n\n
1.\u00a0 Be on time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
2.\u00a0 Find a quiet place free from distraction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
3.\u00a0 Maintain respect in speaking, writing and appearance.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
4.\u00a0 Stay on mute unless you have something relevant to contribute<\/p>\n\n\n\n
.5.\u00a0 Video needs to remain ON to promote focus.\u00a0 Eye contact should be maintained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
6.\u00a0 Refrain from chewing gum, eating and drinking in front of the camera.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Google Hangout for 1st hour is Monday from 1:00-1:40 p.m. Look for the “Nickname” in Remind as we near the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The Google Hangout for 6th hour is Tuesday from 2:20 – 3:00 p.m. Look for the Nickname in Remind as we near the time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
As Remind is set up by subject and not individual hour, you may be getting a code for the other class. Please join only your own class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
